The next beginner's brick stitch class and beading demonstration will be held on April 15, 2018, at The Bead Gallery, Honolulu.
For the Brick Stitch Basic's class, I will be going over the stitches you need to know in order to create many of the designs in my shop, Bead Crumbs, Etsy. We will practice on a small pattern to learn the ladder stitch, increasing brick stitch, decreasing brick stitch, multiple bead increasing/decreasing, adding a bead tip, and starting and ending your work. We will then work on a Panda design using larger, size 8 Delica beads. Here is a photo of the panda beadwork (keyring not included).

Following the class, from 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM, there will be a brick stitch lotus charm demonstration. The demo event is free and no registration is necessary - just pop on by! If you're new to bead weaving, you can watch me as I show and explain the process of beading a lotus charm using the brick stitch method. Experienced beaders usually purchase beading supplies from the shop and use this time to work on the project.
I will be demonstrating the smaller black & gold lotus charm, shown below, but you will receive the free pattern for all 3 lotus designs. For more information, please contact me at Beadcrumbshawaii@gmail.com or visit my Facebook Events page.
