Maneki Neko December Beading Demo

We're going to get ready to bring in lots of good luck for the New Year! Come join us!!

The bead demonstration project for December is the Maneki Neko (Beckoning Cat) charm. This Japanese kitty is supposed to attract good fortune so let's get started together! Here is the information.

Join us at The Bead Gallery on December 17 for a seed bead demo of the good luck Maneki Neko charm! I'm going to demonstrate the basic brick stitch techniques that you need to know in order to make the neko (cat), shown in topmost photo, but with a few extra steps you can add on a reindeer antler or a little tassel necklace.

If you have attended a previous demo, and you are familiar with basic bead weaving stitches, you can still join us! Pick up your free pattern and get started on your project.

Delica beads and beading supplies are available for purchase at The Bead Gallery.
