How to Make Tiny Furoshiki Favors

I made these tiny Furoshiki styled favors for a recent kids' get-together and even had the children make their own to take home and share with mom and dad.  Furoshiki is a Japanese wrapping cloth that is used to wrap gifts, make bags and more.  Better yet, it's eco-friendly.

I started with a 6 inch square fabric with raw edges.  No sewing here.

With right sides together, I folded the square, corner to corner, and created a triangle piece.

I knotted the corners (nearest the fold), making sure that the knots were tight.

Turn the fabric in so that the knots are on the inside and you will have a small pouch.

Fill your pouch with treats.

Knot the top, cut any loose thread, and you're done!
